Spring 2026 Shadow a Stag

Shadow a Stag offers a unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Fairfield student. During this visit, you will be paired with a current undergraduate who will bring you along to classes, introduce you to fellow current Stags, and give you an authentic look at academics and campus life.

For the Spring 2026 semester, Shadow a Stag visits are intended for students who have been admitted to Fairfield for the Fall 2026 term and are exploring what it would be like to join our community. These visits provide admitted students with a deeper, firsthand perspective on the classroom experience and student life.

Shadow a Stag visits are not available on Wednesdays.

Because each visitor is paired with a compatible student host, advance notice is required. Registration closes one week prior to the scheduled visit date to allow our team time to make thoughtful matches.

Visitors may choose to shadow a student during either a morning or afternoon session. Morning visits run from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and afternoon visits run from 12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. We will do our best to match each guest with a host based on academic and extracurricular interests.

If you are a high school junior beginning to explore Fairfield, we encourage you to keep this program in mind. Shadow a Stag will be available to prospective students in the fall of their senior year, when you can return for a more immersive visit as you move through the college search process. We encourage you to explore campus through one of our other visit offerings.
